On a brighter note . . .

I had a weekend jam-packed with things I love to do, including but not limited to several hours of service to my favorite civil rights organization.

After that, a glorious day and a lovely drive from Dallas to Central Texas, where I was able to catch up with a friend, try a new food (an Indian dessert) and even learn a new skill: XBox 360 (though I am decidedly unskilled at it, I have learned).

Now knocking out some work before conducting training sessions all day tomorrow. But I'll have a 3-hour drive home in which to try to think of something interesting to write so as not to make another post like this one. :)
