A glimpse into the fine American legal system.

We receive reports of cases that are filed in the area--a service goes to the courthouse every day and compiles a list of the suits that were filed. Many of the descriptions of the cases are a source of amusement, including this one from today's report, about a suit filed against Wal-Mart:

Trip and fall over a can of Vienna Sausage "or whatever object it was." $1 million.
