Overheard in the Jacksonville airport

this weekend:

A dad walked his 10 year old-ish daughter to the ladies' room and said, "You need to understand, you are a beautiful, skinny young woman and it doesn't matter if you are not a size one--practically no one is really a size one." She flushed and looked to be considering, just for a moment, whether her dad could be right about that.
