I'm still reading my "Live From New York" book (up to page 394 out of 565-yea!) about the history of Saturday Night Live, which is truly addictive. The book proceeds chronologically and I just reached the pages about Jack Handey, who wrote "Deep Thoughts" on SNL during the last time period when I was a devoted follower of the show. I remember watching the episodes with "Deep Thoughts" and belly-laughing at how funny they were.
