Does it make me a bad person to take such unbounded joy in the Cubs' 15-11 win over the Hated White Sox and even more joy (if that is possible) in reading the Angry Rantings of White Sox Fans during said win?
From Bleed Cubbie Blue, this classic quote, funny in the context of one of the Cubs' worst seasons in recent memory:"We still have our dignity!" -- unidentified semi-drunk Cub fan, walking up the stairs in the LF bleachers during the 15-11 win over the White Sox on July 2

Yay Cubs! Can I adopt your team as my own? Only the gods know when the Pirates are going to get their act together.
Thanks, Brett--and you're right, that is a very odd baseball scroe.
Jenn, you surely may adopt the Cubs as your own! We need all the fans we can get.
Ah! A rare visit from The Cheat of South Side Sox fame (http://www.southsidesox.com/)! See, Jenn, White Sox fans are so classy that even after winning a World Series and mostly beating the pulp out of the Cubs and all other opponents, they still feel the need to reach out to the web sites of Cubs fans to kick a little sand in their faces. Well done, Classy Sox Fan. Hope you and AJ enjoy dinner tonight! :)
